Good Morning

Good morning!!!
It's beautiful outside.  You can feel fall around the corner, which I am so thankful for because it was way to hot this year.
The deer are all walking about eating the fresh greens from the recent rain.  They are so much fun to watch.  Our resident momma deer has two babies with her.  She cares for both as if they were her own and will even nurse them both.  One is her newest little doll and the other is a grandchild.  She's such a good momma.  Every year she takes on two babies.  She's wonderful at managing the property and chasing off anyone she doesn't want around, especially if they try to eat her food.  When I go into the garden, to collect produce, she will wait at the gate for the blemished tomatoes that I toss out. 
The babies are so much fun.  A week ago one of them fussed out loud like a baby would fuss at someone taking a toy.  It was either because kiki walked by and was too close, or because it saw me in the garden a few feet away and was either wanting me to feed it or telling me to go away because I was too close.  When it rains or they play in puddles, they bounce around like little goats.  So cute.

Todays chores will be to pay bills and go through paperwork and then hopefully get to Walmart to pick up a large glass jar for making Kombucha.  My kitchen looks like a science experiment lab with all it's misc water jars growing plants from kitchen scraps and scoby blobs for Kombucha.  I get a kick out of it.

Miss Maggie kitty has a lump on her shoulder that I've made an appointment for for next week.  Praying it's nothing serious.  She is such a precious little thing and I just don't want her to get sick again.  She's my little monkey girl.

I guess I should get going with my stuff before it's time to pick up the youngest from school.

Several years ago I read something that really made sense to me. I can't remember where I read it or what exactly it said but it talked about how saying the words "I am ......." before some value that you wish you had.  It was explained that, in doing so, it could change your subconscious thinking.   We all have so many thoughts running through our heads at any given moment and I would guess that not all those thoughts are positive.  If you are a woman, then you probably have many more thoughts running at one time than any man would.  Most of us have high expectations for ourselves, so every imaginable self criticism comes to mind and runs on a continuous loop in our heads. When we read the bible it has so many areas that talk about taking captive your thoughts, thinking of only good things, speaking words that only lift us up, and BELIEVING what you pray for, so it will be done.  So the trick for most of us is to shut down those negative subconscious thoughts t...

Todays thoughts

I've been listening and reading about a new fad in Christianity that has become very heart breaking for me personally . It seems there is a growing number of people who don't like what they call the "institution" of the church. You know what? Church is not perfect and never was. That's why there are so many letters in the bible to churches telling them what they need to change. It's not going to be perfect but that doesn't mean we walk away. What concerns me about great Christian people who give up on the church experience, is that, in giving up and only gathering with a small group of Christians, they are losing the experience of fellowship with people that have no other place to go. Christians who need loving people around them on that Sunday morning, to help get them through the week.
