Mommy Bingo

Good morning!!! 
Three days, in a row, of blogging!!!!! 
And yes....I do this for my own amusement.  Seriously, I sit around this house doing chores every day all day long.  A mommy house lady with no people around all day....will talk to herself after a while. 
And any of you who know me....  KNOW I can talk.  I'm shy until I know you and then you can't shut me up.

My husband told me that today is topless day.  I'm not sure where he learned that.  Did he think that, by telling me, I would strip of my shirt and do my chores topless??? 
CAUSE THAT AINT HAPPENIN!!!!! 
That would not be pretty, AT ALL, at my age.  And....he would be horrified if I did.  He loves to make the joke, but we are both so modest even at home.  I should shock him one day.  He would look so uncomfortable and then we would both laugh and laugh....and I would take the saran wrap off and put my pjs back on.  :D

I'm not sure what todays chores will be.  How exciting to fly by the seat of my pants.  Gosh...maybe I will do something fabulous on such a whim, like clean bird poo of the front porch floor.  Gotta love spontaneous days.

Tomorrow...if the weather holds out, will be a day of mowing the property.  Praying it's a day in the 80's or less.  How awesome that would be.  Probably not realistic.

I really need to make the Kombucha tea today.  It's not hard to do.  Why do I keep putting it off?

My fitbit says I got 5 hours of sleep last night.  I did not get 5 hours of sleep.  The graph looks so sad like some crazy bar code, according to my cousin.  I'm not sure how us ladies function on so little sleep.  It's like we're part of a club of special people who should be BRILIANT with the amount of thinking we do, all night long, keeping us from sleep.

Well....I guess I should do something with my day.  I have a zillion chores to choose from. 
I should write them all on ping pong balls and put them in a bingo cage.  Then I could roll them around and call them outloud.  Oooooh.... I could make cards and everything.  It would be like playing "mommy chores bingo".....  But then I wouldn't win anything.  Never mind.

Several years ago I read something that really made sense to me. I can't remember where I read it or what exactly it said but it talked about how saying the words "I am ......." before some value that you wish you had.  It was explained that, in doing so, it could change your subconscious thinking.   We all have so many thoughts running through our heads at any given moment and I would guess that not all those thoughts are positive.  If you are a woman, then you probably have many more thoughts running at one time than any man would.  Most of us have high expectations for ourselves, so every imaginable self criticism comes to mind and runs on a continuous loop in our heads. Todays thoughts

I've been listening and reading about a new fad in Christianity that has become very heart breaking for me personally . It seems there is a growing number of people who don't like what they call the "institution" of the church. You know what? Church is not perfect and never was. That's why there are so many letters in the bible to churches telling them what they need to change. It's not going to be perfect but that doesn't mean we walk away. What concerns me about great Christian people who give up on the church experience, is that, in giving up and only gathering with a small group of Christians, they are losing the experience of fellowship with people that have no other place to go. Christians who need loving people around them on that Sunday morning, to help get them through the week.
