If one tiny pill can do so much......
Oh the joy of cool weather to come.
We're supposed to get a cool front Thursday. I can't wait.
This morning when I walked into the kitchen, Greta was sitting in the kitchen sink.
When I asked him what he wanted, he sniffed the faucet. So, I looked at the water bowl and it was low but still had water. They don't like the last inch of water. I can't blame them. Brink shares their water bowl and he eats their poo. I'd want fresh water also.
I'm guessing Brink thinks of their poo as his own version of probiotics. And yet, he is the pickiest eater in my house. I don't quite understand dogs and their love of all that smells nasty. I'm a cat person.
Tomorrow I have a doctors appointment that should give me information I've been wanting for, for over a year. Of all the things I test positive for, does that mean I have all those illnesses? Information is power for me. I remember my mother in law thinking she was cancer free for 10 years, only to find out that she was on cancer medication for a type of malignant blood issue caused by the radiation therapy she had with breast cancer. One doctor felt it wasn't information she needed and the new doctor felt it was important she knew what was going on. If she'd had the information before, she may not have had the surgery that caused her to lose her legs and end up with leukemia. Her information was given to her too late. I guess some doctors think it's better to keep their patients oblivious so as not to cause stress. I guess that works for some people. I prefer information. My mom would have survived with information. She didn't find out what was wrong with her until it was too late to do anything about it. Information is power. We are our own advocate when it comes to doctors. They can only do so much and then send us home to manage from there. One tiny pill has enough in it to change our life, but we inhale junk food by the pound and think it has only SOME effect on us. Think about that. One tiny pill a day can do so much. What can one spoon of honey, or one shake of turmeric, or one large glass of fresh organic juice per day do for us? What does one coke, one chemically treated piece of fruit, one package of artificial sweetener do to us?
Last night was another "not much sleep" night. I will need a nap today.
The chickens didn't come by yesterday but were here today. One of the ladies was waiting for me on my cushioned chair, so I gave her a pet as I walked by.
The animal in the wall has migrated to another wall. Bruce and I want to hook up a camera under the house and hook that up to a computer so we can see what it is. That would be fun. If it's a rat...it needs to go bye bye. If it's a opossum, it can stay. We like a balance here. Nature works so much better with balance.
Well, I better go eat something and get my paperwork done.
Hope everyone has a great day today. :)
