Love your day
It's Tuesday after a Monday holiday and the start of a new month.
I think the birds are starting to migrate because we have a tree full of them that hop onto the porch to eat the cat food and then hop right back into the tree when we go onto the porch.
I love this time of year. One of my favorite things about this time of year is when the blackbirds start filling trees while you walk the shopping centers and the sounds they make fill the air. You see this "whoosh" of birds fly like some beautiful black ghost into the air and then see them settle down again into another bunch of trees. I have video of me running up to a tree to chase them off just so I can hear and see them. I was even able to avoid being pooped on. Now that there is talent ladies and gentlemen!!!
I don't like shopping, but I might just have to force myself if I see those wonderful birds.
Fall is just around the corner and I'm SO looking forward to that first cool morning.
I can almost taste it.
We have so many baby deer in our neighborhood. I don't think I've ever seen so many.
They see Bruce walk out the front door and start to migrate from their corner of our property to the feed bowls. We only feed them during the dry months or when the mothers who are nursing look thin. At this time of year they have to adjust to less fresh green food in an effort to harden their system for winter. But this is also the time of year that people put out corn to prep a lease for hunting and some don't realize that corn can kill the babies. Don't feed corn...feed pellets.
Our deer end up eating fruit and veggies scraps. I try to hide them in the compost pile but sometimes they dig them up. little turkeys. They love watermelon left overs, but I always worry that will upset their system. It's fun to watch them stomp to try and get the other deer to leave, so they can have them all to themselves. Usually the moms don't let the babies have any.
The house is quiet. I have a bunch of chores to do but I'm sitting here drinking my coffee instead.
Our kombucha is almost ready to bottle for it's second fermentation. That will be an interesting experiment.
I've been juicing almost every day and eating loads of watermelon the last month or so. Other than that, I eat what I want but try to keep it all real, organic foods, and home made meals.
I've noticed that things are healing that didn't heal well before. When I get a mosquito bite, it heals and goes away almost instantly as compared to lasting a month or more. That's huge for me.
My skin is healthier than it's ever been, and I don't hurt as bad. I would love to say I don't hurt at all,
but I'm happy to have an improvement at least. I'm going to keep at it and keep praying. I have an appointment next month so I can ask questions from a GOOD doctor. I'm hopefully she can explain what's going on.
I have a list of people I've been praying for. So many people who are sick or hurting in some way.
So many prayers needed for so many. Obviously not everyone is healed from prayer. Sometimes it's hard to know what to pray for.
I wish the world was less stressful and more peaceful. We all try to do what we are told and what is expected of us, but sometimes the best thing to do is to just stop trying to please everyone and enjoy each and every day as it comes, without an agenda. Peace and joy in watching a child make a tent in a living room and not thinking of the mess.
Trying to calm our hearts and minds in the world today takes great effort but is well worth it.
Be peaceful
Enjoy life
Eat good, healthy, real food
Be silly
Laugh
Stop caring what others think.
Love Yourself
Love God
Pray and let him TOTALLY guide your day
Plant a garden. ;)
Hugs
